Service and operator

These terms apply to the WaveLocus website and its optional assistant service at assistant.wavelocus.com, including the ChatGPT recording-review integration. WaveLocus is developed and operated by Sahil P Karawade, an independent developer. Product questions can be sent to support@wavelocus.com.

Permitted use

You may use the tools to perform browser-based audio checks and preserve your own observations. Do not use them in a manner that could harm people, hearing or equipment.

Safety

Begin at a low device volume, stop if a signal is uncomfortable and never treat a browser level as a physical SPL reading. You remain responsible for connected equipment and listening conditions.

Limitations

Results depend on the complete browser, operating system, device, cable, interface, room and transducer path. They are not certification, calibration, medical diagnosis or a warranty of equipment performance.

Recording review

Recording review checks sample peak, whole-excerpt RMS, full-scale samples and DC offset. Its partial narration-level reference is not a universal voice target or complete publishing-compliance test. An optional gain-adjusted copy changes volume only and requires your approval. It does not remove noise or repair clipping. Listen to the result and check the requirements for your intended destination. Sharing measurements with an assistant does not share the audio. Availability

The service may change as methods are validated and browser behavior evolves. Unsupported or unreliable measurements may be removed.
