Play known channel references and record whether each side is correct, quiet or missing.
Before you begin
Start at a low device volume. No sound starts automatically. Use Stop all audio at any time.
Stereo routing sequence
Channel test
Play each route separately and record whether the sound appeared on the expected side.
Run one reference at a time. Record what you actually hear before changing the setup.

Left channel
The tone should be heard only from the left side.

Right channel
The tone should be heard only from the right side.

Both channels
The same tone should be heard from both sides at a similar level.
