Sahil Karawade

Sahil Karawade is the developer and editor of WaveLocus and an Audio Machine Learning research member at Munich Music Labs, collaborating on industry research projects. His research includes audio watermarking and neural codec resynthesis. He has a degree in mathematics.

His research affiliation is provided as background. WaveLocus is an independent project, not a Munich Music Labs product or endorsement.

Research

Latent Audio Watermarking for Robustness to Neural Codec Resynthesis is a research preprint coauthored by Lovro Brulec, Sahil Karawade, Leonard Kinzinger. Lovro Brulec and Sahil Karawade contributed equally.

Purpose

Simple tests are useful entry points. The deeper job is to identify what the result followed, change one variable at a time and preserve evidence that another person can reproduce.

Principles

Safety comes before feature count. Measurement eligibility comes before numerical results. Raw audio stays local by default, and uncertainty is shown rather than hidden.
