Current use
WaveLocus does not set non-essential cookies itself. Commercial delivery is disabled by default. YouTube players on some guides and the ChatGPT recording review page load when the page opens, as explained below.
External changelog
The changelog opens on Headway’s own website. No Headway widget or storage runs on WaveLocus. Headway handles any storage on its destination website after you follow the link. See the external changelog privacy notice.
Optional YouTube videos
Opening a page containing a tutorial video loads YouTube's privacy-enhanced player. It communicates with Google before playback and may use browser storage as part of its service. This is separate from WaveLocus's local test storage and commercial-content preferences. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no information reaches Google. See the tutorial video privacy notice. You do not need to play tutorial videos to use the written instructions or audio tools.
Browser storage
WaveLocus currently stores saved recipes, audio baselines, diagnostic-session observations and commercial-consent preferences in your browser. A headset-to-diagnosis handoff may use short-lived session storage. Clearing this site's browser data removes these local records. An optional cross-device continuation separately transfers limited structured state when you initiate it.
Optional assistant connection
The optional assistant service runs at assistant.wavelocus.com. Reviewing a connection sets an essential Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict consent cookie for up to ten minutes. It protects that approval request and is cleared when you approve or decline. It is not an advertising cookie. Connecting does not share results. Pairing or connecting a recording-review tab requires browser approval, and sharing results requires a separate approval. Optional commercial content
If a reviewed commercial provider is enabled later, WaveLocus will ask before loading it. Declining does not reduce tool, diagnosis, or evidence-pack functionality.

This preference is stored only in this browser. It never changes a diagnosis, measurement, safety limit, or report.
